About me

I wrote my first book when I was 5 years old, a book about trains for my Poppa as a Christmas gift. I read voraciously as a child as well, always in the fantasy or science fiction section. Writing has been in my family, and my blood, for over a generation. I became a freelance professional writer in 2011, and self-published ‘The Girl From Out of Town’ in 2012. This book, and more, have been born from the National Novel Writing Month, an event I have competed in since 2002, and have ‘won’ every year.
